This artwork is inspired by something I wrote many years ago, after my one of my first fashion shoots with a big Indian designer... The models for this shoot were these young 16-17 year old girls from Eastern Europe. And they seemed to have this look of fear in their eyes.. After the shoot was done, the whole crew went out for a beer and these young girls (kids) felt like they needed to try to flirt with the photographer and the shoot coordinator (we were both men) to try to "nerwork" their way up the ladder.. some guys may have got some kicks out of this, but I felt so bad for these girls. Because I could see the fear and uncertainty in their eyes.. and could only imagine what they had had to in the past or after other shoots.

This was about a decade ago.. and I just consciously started shooting more men’s fashion and sport portaiture after this e
