Damavand

Mount Damavand is the highest peak in Iran, the second most prominent, and the highest volcano in Asia.
It is part of the Volcanic Seven Summits mountaineering challenge in the world.
Damavand has a special place in Persian mythology and folklore and has its own day in the Persian calendar.
