Looking towards Phuket from Ao Nang beach in the province of Krabi at night time is an otherworldly experience. The Illumination here is a result of lights deployed by vessels fishing for squid at night in Phang Nga Bay.

This eerie light reflects off the tropical thunderclouds that dominate the skyline during the monsoon season, Transforming the horizon into an iridescent green light show as solitary island sits quietly amongst the spectacle.

Thailand is a very special place on earth.

A country that inadvertently has changed the path of my life for the better. My visits here have been solo and, for the most part, unplanned, leading to some incredible cultural experiences. Unprepared for the stunningly dramatic tropical landscape, ancient temples, vibrant nightlife, and warmth of people who are also masters of cuisine, my time here has become a photographical study of this incredible place.
