Lake Tahoe - I was lucky enough to say this is the place I grew up. Camping, hiking, and skiing. No place means more to me than Lake Tahoe. Although I do not live there now, no matter how long it has been when I return, this place feels like home. Tahoe shaped me into the person I am today. It is the reason I enjoy capturing the beauty of landscapes.

I have spent countless hours shooting varying compositions around the lake. Hunting for a shot that I would be fully happy with. And I have come away with a good few that I love but I do not think any top this one. A burning sunset at Bonsai Rock.

This image holds all that I love about the lake. The crystal-clear blue water. the granite boulders above and below the water’s surface, a beautiful sunset, and the snow-covered mountains just visible in the background. All culminating into an image out of a dream filled with absolute serenity.
