Obsessive Cycles of Fiber is an AI art project inspired by my journey of recovery from an OCD diagnosis. Since being diagnosed I’ve learned how underdiagnosed and poorly stigmatized this disorder is. My intention with this art project is to spread awareness about this disorder, destigmatize it, and help people get the support they need.

The artwork is composed to represent the cycle of OCD and common obsessions in abstract form.  A person suffering from OCD is often caught in a never-ending cycle of trying to get certainty about some fear:  1.Obsession about the fear 2.Anxiety about not having certainty 3.Compulsion to control the anxiety 4.Temporary relief from the fear
