I want you to meet Nizami Semerci who is the last maker of saddler. he is the one whose surname derives from saddle. He started this job when he was 8, helper of his father. He has been making saddlers for 70 years this job is heirloom.

He says “ in the past people comes from the villages and towns have me sew saddles. They comes lines and sometimes sleeps in front of our house door but now the things changes. We don’t even have a donkey to sew a saddle. Now the saddles we make are in the museums.
