An ancient town which is said to be dating close to 1430s is now famous for its steep & narrow alleyways, numerous tea houses and a variety of street food. This place attract lots of tourists from across Taiwan and internationally as well and to serve them there are lot of souvenir shops.

This coastal town was once the biggest gold mine of Taiwan and also served as shipping hub during qing dynasty.
