Album art for my fifth official single as APHTA, "Indra Net". Indra is a Vedic deity in Hinduism and a guardian deity in Theravada Buddhism. He wields a thunderbolt weapon known as Vajra and rides an elephant, sometimes depicted with multiple heads or tusks. Indra also wields an infinitely large net with a multifaceted jewel at each vertex, and each jewel is reflected in all the other jewels. It’s a metaphor for the interconnectedness of the universe, and how the universe is contained in even the smallest piece of this larger whole.
