NFTrex headed out to the Opensea to see what new friends could be found. Looking up at the moon, there was hoot coming from a moonlit silhouette nestled in a big tree at the very top of the land. The friendly owl invited NFTrex to come up to the top & swing for a while! Luckily there was a vine strong enough to let the dino ‘saur’! NFTrex instantly felt supported by this nested friend, and enjoyed hanging out while getting a better view of the land. The wise owl then shared stories of all her friends in many different parliaments. Hungry, NFTrex asked to ‘meat’ them all! “Hoot do you think you are?” the owl asked, “we don’t eat our friends, we collect them!”. Though in her wisdom, and seeing NFTrex was hungry for more, the owl shared a brilliant idea! She explained that the land offers plenty of things that are meant to be eaten, and told NFTrex exactly where to go…

-Inspiration- What a serendipitous adventure I’ve had into web3! I had no idea that the kind offer to be included in Grails by PROOF would quickly lead to so much more with Moonbirds! This piece celebrates the support & the community I have found, in this vast collection of cool people & parliaments within, who lift me up! First & foremost, this art was created to pay homage the shining brilliance of Justin Mezzell - Co-Founder of PROOF & Creator of Moonbirds. There’s so much I can say about Justin! I’m constantly in awe of his artistry & creativity, and his kindness & humor. Above all, I highly respect his leadership abilities & dedication to building web3 while building people up along the way. It’s no wonder that Moonbirds has become as successful as it has, given his artistry in it’s creation & leadership of it’s community. This piece celebrates what all Justin & PROOF has created, and the community that creating it into so much more!
