Among various wildlife encounters, some are truly special ones. One such memorable sighting is the one you see in this image. Last day of our trip and the last safari before the sanctuary closes for monsoons, I prayed with my heart to God for rain in the jungle. And it did rain. Imagine our joy sky high when these cubs were enjoying the first rain of the season. Under their mother’s protection, they played around in the rain, running and getting wet. This duo got soaked enough that they had to lick each other's back. So much love and tender care towards each other simply melted my heart. My eyes couldn't go off the viewfinder and my soul completely got immersed at this moment. I captured multiple frames but this one was special. Cub glimpsed over his fellow right at me giving this innocent look which I can never forget in my lifetime.
