If you LookUp in the common area of the Mandarin Oriental in Barcelona, you could think all the four facades of the building are wrapped inside.

LookUp V2 collection image

According to Plato's dialogues, Thales once fell into a well while looking at the stars. An old lady who witnessed what happened teases him: “Oh Thales, cannot see what is at your feet and you expect to see what is in the heavens?" It is hard to say if the story is true but 26 centuries later, we still remember Thales' name and acknowledge his contributions to mathematics, astronomy, and philosophy. Like many other scientists in history, he lifted his community by “looking up” even though the public sometimes mocked him. Artists too are often ridiculed by the public. Yet the builders of our cultural heritage are the artists who break social norms for showing a hidden beauty or an ugly truth by changing the perspective of the people. They educate us on how to look up.

Hence, this collection is dedicated to those who keep looking up to find a hidden beauty or an inconvenient truth regardless of what other people think of them.

The collection consists of 10 unique 1/1 NFTs and I will be donating 20% of the revenue to the education of underprivileged children.

Collector perk: Owners of two or more NFTs of this series will receive physical 30cm x 40cm fine art prints of the collected images.
