New York Love Letter is my homage to the city that never sleeps. I spent 2 wonderful weeks there, and I studied beforehand where I could get the best vantage point for the city. There are so many observatories, but only "Top of the Rock" has a more iconic view in my opinion. It also has a view not obstructed by glass, which I felt was a requirement for myself.
This piece was especially difficult to obtain, as they do not allow tripods when you go to the observatory. I took with me a mini tripod that was able to fit into my pocket; however, the winds were so strong, I stayed in place holding the tripod without budging for 3 hours in order to make sure this came out exactly as I envisioned it. It was extremely cold too, I was underdressed.
Ultimately though, New York Love Letter was a success and I am very proud of this piece, all the time spent before, during, and after the shoot.
This piece comes with an 8k file, please be sure to message me for the file itself!
