Touch of Stone is a piece created using the polaroid emulsion lift technique to explore the philosophical concept of Kintsugi, which is the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with gold or silver lacquer to enhance its beauty.

This technique involves removing the emulsion layer of a Polaroid photograph from its backing and transferring it to a new surface, such as paper or canvas. I have further expanded upon this technique by transferring the images onto watercolor paper and rocks with various images.

My vision is to preserve the unique texture and alternative photographic process showcased in this work.
