This is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Italy, it is always wonderful, in every season. But in autumn it is something magical: the autumn colors are so strong that they dazzle the viewer and the maple leaves that have fallen on the stones lapped by the flowing water make everything even more spectacular. This was my first time there, and as soon as you reach the foot of this imposing waterfall you are petrified by such beauty. The roar of the falling water, the fresh air that laps your face and the silence around you cradle you as when you are on the beach and listen to the surf of the sea. Like when you were rocked by children: everything is fine and nothing can go wrong, you are invincible. And breathe
In the last two years due to the pandemic we have forgotten what it means to travel, to be free, to discover new places. Mental and anxiety problems have increased significantly in the population. I called this series of shots "Breathe" because, despite all the adverse situations in life, the problems, that feeling of weight on the chest and of the lump in one’s throat, while I was taking these photos I felt light as a feather, finally without thoughts. I tried to impress these emotions in my works, hoping to be able to convey this well-being to the viewer. Because there is no better feeling than sitting in front of a sunset, and Breathing. Just Breathe
