In the Netherlands we have four different seasons. We have both cold and warm days and therefore a lot of difference when photographing the landscapes during the different seasons. In fact, even every day it can look completely different due to the wind, clouds and light. You may know the Netherlands for its windmills, Delft Blue, tulips, bicycles or clogs. Our country is very flat. There are some hills, but no mountains. The Netherlands is heavily built up in some places and many people live on a small piece of land. There are also many meadows.

I took this photo in the spring. It is such a beautiful colorful Dutch landscape with lots to see. On the left a line pattern of trees with a tree in the foreground that creates a dichotomy in the photo, but also gives depth to the entire image. On this tree you will find a snail if you enlarge. In the landscape there is a lot of green from the leaves on the trees, the reeds, the grass and the weeds. The numerous flowers in the grass are white and yellow. You can also see insects here and there on the flowers. Horses, some covered with rugs, graze in the pasture next to the farm. The farm keeps up with the times, because there are solar panels on the roof. The dark clouds in the sky predict rain. The little bit of blue contrasts nicely.
