I left the house to walk to the old little movie theater. It was raining lightly outside and the wind was blowing against my back. The street was so narrow and the houses were so tall. I could see the gray sky between the roofs of the houses, and it was getting dark. I walked faster to keep from getting wet. Cars passed by me as people were coming home from work. The headlights of the passing cars and the light of the street lamps blinded me, I was uncomfortable and wanted to get to the movie theater as soon as possible. I started walking even faster and almost ran. When I took the next step, I realized that the ground had disappeared under my foot and I started to fall.
