The fancy coffee shop was the only lively place in the small provincial town. A young girl brewed coffee and baked cookies. Sometimes students came here to prepare for classes and have a cup of coffee. Religious paraphernalia diluted the cozy interior. On the walls you could find bibles, Korans and Torahs. The girl was studying religion and had been longing to get closer to God ever since she lost her parents at an early age. The sun was so unnaturally bright that morning. The girl left the house to head to the coffee shop. The coffee shop was about a 15 minute walk from her house. She noticed that the streets were empty and the city was completely silent. The town was small and even seemingly abandoned, but even here there was always the constant noise of human existence. She stopped because she felt someone watching her from behind. She turned around and saw something that a mortal man should not see. She saw what had taken her. It would not harm her. It doesn't hurt. It brings tranquility.
