Volendam is a fishing town in the municipality of Edam-Volendam, province of North Holland, Netherlands. Having nearly 23K population, it is one of the tourist attraction zones with its fishing boats, harbor and street food.
Being a person who is born and raised in a city (İstanbul) with lots of seagulls, I was surprised to see how close the seagulls can get to people in order to fill their stomach. On that warm November morning with sun, I watched the woman sitting on the bench and feeding the seagulls, creating a dynamic but peaceful view.
