This art project intends to celebrate the 700th anniversary of the death of Dante Alighieri (1265-1321), author of The Divine Comedy and Father of the Italian language.
Each piece of the collection is an animated GIF that comes to life from the verses of the canto to which it refers, after having appropriately assigned an RGB background-color to each ASCII character of the text (same char, same color).
Through magical transitions, that rearrange the letters like a huge puzzle, an illustration of the canto itself – taken from several famous masterpieces – finally appears.
Every item is hosted on IPFS and minted as unique (1-of-1) NFT.
There will never be more than 100 items in this collection. Minted till now: 100/100
