When I go window shopping,

I am just looking not buying ,

For the things I see,

Will never belong to me.

I press my nose against the window,

With anger I want to break it asunder,

In fury I watched and cry,

For there are things which money cannot buy.

There is understanding all dressed in red,

Is that a price on its head?

There is no price I can see,

I suppose its owner will be just lucky.

Is that love in the corner I see?

Staring its beady eyes at me,

I have money and to spare,

But I don’t want to buy I want to share.

I passed the old second hand shop,

The things I wanted they hadn’t got,

for someone to love and understand,

You will never found among the second hand.

I’ll forever go window shopping,

After all the folks have done their shopping,

I look with tears in my eye,

For there are things money cannot buy.

A Year For The Books: Berlin 2020 collection image

A Year For The Books: Berlin 2020 is a collection of 24 photographs taken throughout the year of 2020, a year which we all will remember for the rest of our lives as a difficult and scary experience due to the outburst of Covid, pandemic and first lockdowns.

These 1/1 photographs represent happy, sad, lonely and uniting moments. All have been taken on Nikon D5100 before eventually giving up on me last year after almost a decade. Camera has been gifted to me in 2011 by my uncle couple months after it's release, it was a wonderful moment and a forever happy memory as back then I was going through tough times after my parents divorce and personal problems. It saved me from the dark times giving me a new hobby which I instantly fell in love with. I did not use it a lot at the beginning and only started taking it seriously back in 2017 where street photography opened a new chapter in my life. I love documenting daily life as we all have stories to tell even without talking. Much love, Max.
