I've been in love with photography for most of my life, but when I first flew a drone it changed my perception of the art entirely. Photography was my gateway to the world and being able to see it from a new perspective created a desire to explore and experience new places.

Each of these pieces is very personal to me. Most of them were taken in 2019 when my wife and I were on vacation and decided to stay and live abroad. A short trip blossomed into an expedition around the world. When we arrived back in the United States in early 2020, we learned that we were expecting our first child. Not long after, the world entered a global pandemic.

Somehow we made it through and had a healthy baby at the end of last year. These photos are my victory lap and a reminder that the world is a beautiful place and we can make it through anything.
