🌱 FUN FACT: The word rhubarb comes from the Latin word “rhababarum” which means “root of the barbarians.” The Romans labelled anyone who ate rhubarb “barbarians.” I guess that makes you a barbarian! Rhubarb is crazy tough and cold-hardy, so you usually have to do something really, really drastic to kill it once it becomes established. Think setting it on fire or rolling over it with your lawnmower repeatedly, although they have been known to survive both!

These little fresh foods were created 13 years ago. A company I worked for needed unique characters for a growing brand. Sadly, the project fell through, and our sector was shut down.
Luckily, the FMC had a purpose! We took our shovels and unearthed the one-of-a-kind produce from the file garden to serve the hungry collectors. Watch as we grow! 🌿
