đ± It's not a new kale on the block. Kale is popular now, but people have been growing this super food for more than 2,000 years. Popular in Europe during Roman times and the Middle Ages, it arrived in the U.S. in the 17th century. Gwyneth Paltrow was not lying to you - besides being a good source of fiber, kale has more vitamin C than an orange. đČđ
đ± FUN FACT: Ancient Greeks boiled leafy greens to eat as a cure for drunkenness. Itâs not certain which leaves they used, but there are early Roman documents that describe brassica, the genus that includes kale and related plants. Now a days, McDonaldâs announced that it would start selling breakfast bowls featuring kale and spinach. Can you super-size that McKale, please? I'm hungover.

HISTORY đ
These little fresh foods were created 13 years ago. A company I worked for needed unique characters for a growing brand. Sadly, the project fell through, and our sector was shut down.
Luckily, the FMC had a purpose! We took our shovels and unearthed the one-of-a-kind produce from the file garden to serve the hungry collectors. Watch as we grow! đż
