Live footage of the Milky Way and Jupiter near the bottom using a wide angle lens. When zoomed in you can see nebulas, star clusters and dust lanes that make the distinct shape of the Milky Way core.
Astrophotography has been confined to long exposure photography in all it's existence. With this video, it showcases a new medium of astrophotography in real-time opening up the possibilities of what can be created.
This small release is a collection of live footage of the Milky Way and meteors captured using advanced equipment.
Never has it been possible to record the faint light of the Milky Way in detail.. This is rare footage pushing the boundaries of what can be achieved with light sensitive equipment. I have never released these pieces before until now.
This is a project I have worked on since 2017 will varying results. I tested various equipment, techniques and setting before achieving moderate results. Then I had to consider atmospheric conditions, moon phases, timing, altitude and locations to collect quality data to process.
These are the airdrops for collectors of "A Cluster of Stars", a small 16 piece collection by multi-award winning Milky Way Landscape Photographer David Magro. The Collectors Edition showcases the night sky taking you on a journey as an astrophotographer.
Additionally, the first collector will receive a 1/1 airdrop of the time-lapse edition of "Startrails".
