Sometimes you just can't give up. On this late night near Tucson, Arizona, a small storm formed over the Rincon Mountains and I managed to get into position just as this incredible snake-like bolt dropped out of the sky and lit up the night. Persistence is key to capturing lightning.
It's amazing how easily it is to find ourselves giving in to complacency and grinding daily through an ordinary routine of work, eat, sleep. I also accepted a routine of hiding my true self before the world, and it further eroded any hopes of chasing my passion. Eventually I found myself at a crossroads that only offered one road to healing, choosing to live as my authentic self. Through support from a few family and friends, I was able to see the world through a sort of technicolor eye. I'm trans, but I'm also a parent, a spouse, a guitar player, a public speaker, and a photographer who wants to show the world that life can be as extraordinary as the skies I pursue. Welcome to my world of technicolor.
