AYO OPON; This is traditional game played on a carved wooden board usually between two persons, the objects play being the Ayo seeds which is 48 in number and the Opon which is the Holder (carved wooden board) of 12 holes. This is a game common in West Africa and some part of North Africa. It’s a popular game among the Yoruba people of West-Southern Nigeria.
