The second installment of Tryptamine’s Dubterranean Artifact Series takes us deep into the bowels of the Gaziantep Castle, in the ancient city of Antep, Turkey. These faces are those of the Ottoman soldiers that battled against the liberating French forces, over one hundred years ago. The video is paired with a new and unreleased track, born of a sample that Futurebum recorded from an old television set he'd discovered in an underground bunker in Tirana, Albania. Charles F. Moreland weaves in a potent 9/8 groove that he and his musical counterpart build upon with an onslaught of ascending synth lines. The old TV was playing looped footage from a military march, during the harrowing reign of Enver Hoxha. Paired with the video, this NFT becomes a true gem that encompasses the dark abyss of war, along with the human condition in two overlapping historical timelines.

Tryptamine is the collaborative efforts of music producer/video director Charles F. Moreland III & composer/artist Tristin Morin aka Futurebum. Charles is an American living in Pokhara, Nepal and Tristin is a Nomadic American Expat living throughout Asia and beyond.
