Reva is a street vendor and was a child bride and early age mother. In search of a better life, she moved to the city with her husband, child n big dreams. But after coming into the city, she felt one member earning was not enough, so she started selling utensils for the exchange of old clothes. Every day she moved out of her tiny house with her kid to make some sales. You can find her in street with a big basket on her head and hackling for a tiny bit of money. She knows life is hard and she is too stubborn to give up.
She may not be the best educated, may not be the boss lady of the corporates, may not be handle big business, but she made the choice of taking control of her life. “Everyday Women” is a collection of celebrating Indian women we found around our life, doing mundane tasks, but who are strong in their own ways. We can find them in streets, in our own homes, in markets hustling their ways into the men’s world. They are the magician in finding happiness in small things while managing families and children and doing their profession with utmost grace.
