I found a definition to who I truly am which doesn’t have to truly do with what my physical being looks like, always checking reflections , sobering up when people look my way , wondering badly by whatever emotions they show on their face. Believing that my face is imperfect.My nose most especially is a disadvantage I found very hard to ignore.Slowly I began to wonder , what else was I to do even if they found my face imperfect. Whatever I wanted people to think or see about me has to reflect from me. If I show uncertainty and insecurity they will treat me same or worst. Problems always emerge from us. If you want power you have to portray power when people look at you. You have to ooze it. Slowly I start to sober up and face reality, I’m beautiful and there is more to me than the structural features of my face that is merely a blessing. I’m learning to define and bask in another glory other than being praised by others , I celebrate my beauty before any other.
