Taken in the Virunga Massif in Rwanda in 2016. The worlds entire population of mountain gorillas live in these mountains, in the DRC, Uganda and Rwanda, with a total population of only a thousand (slowly increasing). Visiting the gorillas is a life changing experience. The trek through the jungle to get to the gorillas is already an adventure, but seeing the animals in their natural habitat, spending some time with them in their jungle, is an otherworldly experience.
