In 2016 I traveled to the US with the intent to get married in Las Vegas (for a story in National Geographic Traveler (Dutch edition). I flew into LAX and slowly made my way towards Nevada, stopping in Palm Springs, Sedona, Grand Canyon NP and Monument Valley first. I had been to Palm Springs many times and I still truly love the aesthetics of the place. On this card you can see the Palm Springs Visitors Center. It's was originally the Albert Frey's Tramway gas station, a famous landmark at the entrance of Palm Springs.
'Full House Photo' is a deck of cards with scenes from every corner of the planet. It's a collection of 52 images that have a special place in my heart, and it's a summary of nearly fifteen years of work as a freelance travel photographer and writer.
Every suit is a tribute to a different continent:
Hearts = Africa | Clubs = Asia | Diamonds = Europe | Spades = the Americas
Every single photo in this deck has a special meaning to me. They are memories of incredible encounters, wonderful places, beautiful journeys. This deck is my view of the world, it's my tribute to it, it's my summary of experiences as a traveler.
