Before you blink tells a simple story of how we are a bigger version of what we experience and the environment we live in. When one is born, we are seen as that little child who little knowledge. Within the blinking of an eye, we evolve from little one’s to adults. To create this piece, I had to work the youngest model I’ve ever come across ✨. The outfit she’s putting on is called Iro and Buba and is worn by grown women from the Yoruba tribe but it fits right on her. Before you blink, she’ll no longer be seen as Daddy’s little girl but as the Queen ❤️
Black Elegance is a collection of exploration on the human body. As a creative visual artist, I see the human body as the best canvas which I utilize in telling my tales. The word Elegance means refinement and beauty in movement, appearance and manners. As a young creative, I use each piece in the collection to narrate my firsthand experiences.
