This FRAGMENT Edition NFT is a high resolution photo of the original art piece created by Landon Ward and minted as a 1/10 NFT. The FRAGMENT editions of the SERIGRAPHY Series are extremely detailed photos that create abstract and graphic compositions on their own. They are a fractionalized piece of the overall art piece.
There are 10 FRAGMENT variations of each PRIME art piece, making 101 total NFTs per PRIME piece.
Serigraphy is just the fusing of the two elements used to create this series-serigraph + calligraphy. The creation of the Serigraphy series consisted of one or two unbroken brush strokes on large sheets of cold press paper in India Ink. Once dried, the most ideal shape of the three was chosen and manually screen printed over the brush strokes.
The result is an extremely organic melding of the two mediums with several opportunities for improvised moments within the overall piece. This connects with the artist's study of the principle of gestalt within his final studies for his Fine Art Degree.
10 original PRIMES of real physical pieces. 1000 abstract FRAGMENTS in the collection. 10 abstract FRAGMENTS per 1 PRIME. 10 digital prints of each of the FRAGMENTs. 100 FRAGMENTS per PRIME. 1000 FRAGMENTS total.
Each initial sale of a PRIME qualifies for receiving the actual original piece mailed to the purchaser (US only). The first 10 people to collect all 10 fragments can opt in to get a high quality print of the original piece shipped to them (US only).
