On purpose minimalistic drawing of an empty room. I wanted to show as little as possible while creating a lot of questions about what you see.
Is the room really empty? Where is the light coming from? Is the source of the light good or bad?

Sometimes I have a thought out plan and sometimes I just like to start with nothing and let my the drawing lead me(that doesn’t always work).
I like mystery, contradictions and opposites. Black and white versus color. Complicated versus simple. Real versus imaginary.
I often have these elements(and others) in my illustrations.
