The gradient transcends boundaries, transmuting colours into a unified spectrum that reveals unexpected beauty in collective unison—gradient beauty is the spirit of fluid digital culture. It represents hope, freedom, individual expression, innovation, co-creation, collaboration and co-existence. Multiple colours are integrated as one, just as we are diverse human beings brought together on the internet. We now transcend archaic, rigid schools of thought and belief systems to create new decentralized, transparent systems through the crypto revolution, allowing a holistic revolution to take shape. We are more fluid in race, nationality, sexuality, gender, politics, spirituality… we are a gradient.
As we build a new civilization, we must create beauty. Through beauty in this digital x real world paradigm, we shine a light of hope to dispel the darkness of fear and hate. We must shine light into people’s hearts in order to inspire freedom, and more creativity. Creativity brings us together and pushes us to strive for a higher place from where we stood, and we become creators of our own destiny. It’s the ultimate training ground of autonomy and self-empowerment. We must be more creative, more collaborative and more open to integration and innovation in order to survive and thrive as a species. The gradient symbolizes the digital human and a decentralized future.

Krista Kim is a contemporary artist and founder of the Techism movement since 2014, promoting the confluence of art and technology, and technological innovation as a medium to further the development of digital humanism. She believes that artists must participate at the vanguard of technological innovation in order to contribute to the creation of future culture during this pivotal period of innovation and disruption.
Forbes describes Krista Kim as the “new digital Rothko”, and she was recently chosen by LANVIN to collaborate on their fall/winter collection 2018 with Olivier Lapidus, Creative Director. Kim was the first artist in history to exhibit on the iconic square of Palais de Tokyo Museum and the Museum of Modern art of Paris for Nuit Blanche 2018. Kim earned her Masters of Arts Fine Arts from LASALLE College of the Arts / Goldsmiths, University of London in 2014. She completed her undergraduate studies in Political Science at the University of Toronto.
