The Existence of God (TEOG) - 01/01 unique artwork in the world
One event leads to another, one creation leads to another, and the chain of reactions goes on till today. What caused the Universe to exist? Fast-forward to the future and let’s assume we discover “The cause of the Universe’s existence“. But then, what caused “The cause of the Universe’s existence” to exist? This never-ending string of questions is a paradox itself that stretches beyond the human’s capacity to imagine.
My mind is unable to comprehend the possibility of a never-ending chain of reactions that stretches backwards in time indefinitely. Neither can I convince my mind that the Universe was created out of nothing.
As illogical as it sounds, it is actually more logical to conclude that there must be an ever-present entity that is all encompassing of the Universe and everything within it, an entity which first sparked the Universe into existence. Only with this thought can you find comfort, closure and meaning in life.
Everything that has a start, must have an end. Everything starts with God, and the Universe is no exception. It therefore must end with God, when its time is due.
Only God is ever-present.
