Children are the ones who suffer the greatest destruction during their escape from war.During the time I photographed, they told me with their eyes the burden that these small bodies, who perhaps did not even understand what it was, would carry for years.I watched the games they played together for a while. The only thing that caught my attention was that they were always hiding somewhere while running. In the eyes of every child, you will find the anxiety and fear they experienced during that escape. My only concern is how these children will continue their lives in the future and how they will become human beings. Will they continue to grow with anger or will they be able to overcome it?I don't know the answer to this question. But one thing I do know is that a child should only cry for candy.

Since Turkey is a border neighbor during the Syrian war, many people took refuge in our country with their families. They lived in these tent cities, leaving their memories, homeland and past behind. There are still close to 5 million refugees living in my country.Although it is painful to document the lives that start over with difficulties, life goes on for them. Artist- Ozlem Buyukevren, photographer from Turkey. Edition - 1/1
