DUSK AT SEA I is an original oil painting by artist Alex (amac) Maceda. The physical version of this painting is particularly unique because it was painted over an earlier acrylic painting which gives the painting a unique look. When viewed at an angle, you can see the texture of the acrylic paint coming through.
In dreams, the sea is said to represent all that is unconscious. As water clears, more things become known to you. How do we determine the exact moment when something becomes clear, when darkness fades to light? DUSK AT SEA I explores the medial and this gradual change so soft, blended brushstrokes. The acrylic that sits underneath is a nod to all that we have left to uncover.
BLOOM is the first ever NFT collection by abstract artist Alex (amac) Maceda. The collection was minted between March - October 2021 and is now complete, and no new works will be added.
Eight pieces at 0.1eth were released in October 2021 in conjunction with her article, 'The Case for Fine Art NFTs' (https://amac.substack.com/p/the-case-for-fine-art-nfts). No 1/1s will ever be released at this price going forward.
