The first snow is like the first love. Snow falling soundlessly in the middle of the night will always fill my heart with sweet clarity. The snow doesn't give a soft white damn whom it touches. Snowflakes are one of nature's most fragile things, but just look what they can do when they stick together.
About Photo : This photo is take by me to my last winter trip to Betaab Valley a place in Pahalgam Kashmir, It was originally known as Hagan Valley or Hagoon, but came to be known by its present name & became extremely famous after the movie Betaab, which was shot here. It is located almost 15 kilometers from Pahalgam in Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir. What makes the valley a top tourist attraction in Jammu & Kashmir is its lush meadows, mountains and dense vegetation, which offers lovely opportunities for sightseeing & is a photographer’s delight.
Surrounded by snow dressed mountain peaks, its landscape is dotted with trees like chinar, deodar, pine, willows & poplars, while the Lidder River with its bluish/green waters complements its beauty greatly. It is especially great for enjoying a picnic and sightseeing, and should be visited during your holidays in Kashmir for its exceptional beauty.
