The two places I call home are West Canada and the Caribbean. The difference between the two is drastic but one thing connects them: the Sea. It’s always changing and evolving yet is somehow always so familiar.

Both locations raised me, but the Sea shaped me.

‘The Sea is Black and White’ is a collection of 7 of my favourite 35mm photos from both locations. I hope to show the connection between the two, and inspire a feeling of nostalgia and familiarity but also uncertainty. I hope these photos bring you the same joy they bring me.
