You know, when I was a kid, I wanted to be an adult - like probably most of us at that age. We want the independence. Once we pass that milestone and we gain that, some start fearing the process of getting older. We may be nostalgic about our young years, adolescence, all those crazy parties, all those weird things we all did, and sometimes think - it’s past, it will never come back again. But at the same time, trying and maintaining the kid inside of our hearts, not letting it feast on time but feeding it with the crazy energy - but with a slight understanding and moderation. I also felt a bit weird about getting close to my 30s but now I see it as a very valuable process. I feel I understand more, therefore I can navigate in different ways. I can spot the obstacles and overcome fears. I am more aware of my emotions and surroundings. I am aware of my weaknesses and I know what to work on. The longer you work on something, the better you become. Trust the process. You’re not getting older, you’re getting wiser.
