The Utah desert has some of the most diverse and out of this world formations. My first time visiting Southern Utah will stay with me forever. Those feelings of awe and wonder that I had are what I have tried to emulate with this collection. Millions and millions of years helped form these ancient features, and we are so lucky to be able to enjoy them today.
DAY AND NIGHT.
Desert Dreams is a collection of 24 1/1 photographs.
All of these photographs are a collection of some of my absolute favourite photographs made in the Utah desert. Half is this collection was made during the day, and the other half was made after the sun set, either the exact same composition where I left my camera in the same spot to capture the scene at night, or the same location with a slightly different night composition.
With this night and day contrast I really wanted to encapsulated how dreamlike the Utah Desert is, and show how much beauty is found here at any hour of the day. Over the past 6 years of living in Utah since moving here from the UK, I have spent hundreds of hours roaming the desert under the light of the sun, or the faint light of the stars, and this collection is what I have to show for it.
