Doppelgänger, a Scene in Three Acts, is a looping visual and musical composition by Greg Smith. A ferry in New York Harbor meets its match. Do they collide? Converge? Are they aware? What happens is up to your imagination.
Unlockable Content This NFT includes 3 high resolution videos, each with a different soundtrack and different mood. (one is shown) It also includes a standalone application built with cycling74’s MAX8 (Mac only). The app plays all three videos in a seamless loop, allowing you to easily cut between them. Experiment with the simple user interface and create your own meaning.
Time and Place is a collection of short audio-video works constructed with footage of everyday objects and scenery shot near my home in Lower Manhattan. The raw subjects are beautiful as they are, but by manipulating their geometry, color, timing, and movement, and expressing their character through music and sound, we discover the otherworldly, imagination-inducing impulses, hidden beneath the surface.
