The woman at the door keeps screaming.
— Baby, understand, I'm just worried about you. How are you doing at school? Do you have any friends, are you okay?
The monitor screen flashes on, lighting up the monster (or monsters? ). A slight smile appears on the boy's face.
— Friends? Of course, Mom. It's okay, I have lots of friends.
All my friends are here, he adds in a whisper. The boy's smile grows wider. He pours the chips into a bowl, the monster immediately grabs the snack with his tentacles and pulls out a gampad. Welcome back, says the caption on the computer screen.
