This photo was taken on my way to the Kolukkumalai sunrise point. I was running late for the dawn, and I needed to be to the sunrise point before sunrise. But the sun had already risen, and the scene was breathtaking. I couldn't help but stop and take the picture. I liked how the sunrays peered through the mountain and illuminated the trees and vegetation in the valley.
Due to its high altitude, Kolukkumalai in Munnar is home to the world's highest organic tea farms, with the tea produced here having a distinct flavor and freshness. Kolukkumalai is my favorite short-trip destination. I'm not sure how many times I've been there, but I always try not to miss a sunrise. I should mention that each sunrise I saw from Kolukkumala was unique and spectacular! Yes, watching the sunrise from Kolikkumali helps me rediscover myself and inspires me to remain cheerful and spread positive energy. Here are 15 of my favorite sunrise photos from Kolukkumalai.
