“Time Alone With You,” featuring Daniel Caesar, showcases Jacob Collier’s multi-talents perfectly: a smooth blend of genres rooted in jazz influences, integrating complex theoretical concepts while remaining accessible. Dived into his ability to play with music’s layers, “Time Alone With You” inspired me to find the ending verses of || still he hides ||—a poem I started in 2021 that didn’t seem to want to deliver its closing line before I met this song.
With five Grammy Awards, sold-out venues, and a deal with Quincy Jones’s management company, Jacob Collier is one of today’s most admired musicians. On July 9th, he’ll share another one of his eclectic shows on the same stage.
