The original artwork was made by Frida Kahlo in 1940. The original piece features large green leaves in the background. Frida portrays herself with a monkey on her left shoulder and a cat on her right. The thorns on his neck are squeezing his throat. Symbolically, this work of art is considered very important to Frida Kahlo. It is believed that the hummingbird represents freedom, but in this piece it symbolizes Frida's accident.
The dominant colors in the work are red and green. The green shapes resembling leaves represent the large green leaves from the original piece. Red color represents blood. The density of shapes in the chaotic movement symbolizes the turmoil and mental struggle Frida experienced after the accident. The lotus flower just below the image represents Frida's desire to be reborn, purify her soul from everything and be reborn. The butterfly on Frida's face symbolizes the profound transformation she went through after the accident.

It is quite difficult to draw and design something from scratch, but the most difficult part for me is the coloring phase. At this stage I try so many colors that it is very difficult to choose one in the end.
I found something like this as a solution. Instead of one color, there will be 3 different color options and only 1 work will be done. It will look like a print process, but it will be 1/1. I hope you like this idea.
