A special digital release NFT for 'Firmament', from the latest art collection 'Atmosphere' by Pete Rey. For each art piece only one Digital NFT is available as listed and one Print NFT linked to the printed and framed version of each art piece, in three different sizes with limited editions, for ownership transfer of the physical form. The Print NFT is not available to individually purchase but is transferred after acquisition of the physical art piece.
Un-lockable content for access by the new owner only, includes a password protected link to download the uncompressed 16 Bit TIFF & JPEG 35K files, with overlay text inscription and signature. This NFT is the largest resolution image of art minted on the blockchain to date, amongst others listed in the collections 'Atmosphere', 'Paradiso' and 'Dimensions' at an astonishing 35K (17,717px x 35,433px), made entirely natively in this resolution with no upscaling after creation.
The listing is also the first of its kind to intrinsically link the acquisition of the NFT to the purchase of a printed and framed form of the work, specific to this creation 'Firmament'. This can be used by the current owner whilst in ownership, to purchase directly from the artist. The purchase of the NFT includes a discount code in the Un-lockable content, to the entire value of the NFT acquisition in current state, which is valid up to a maximum discount of 10% off the printed and framed form. This is conditional on availability with limited editions of 12 pieces per artwork piece, in three available sizes. The discount can not be used to purchase from alternative sources.

Pete Rey’s latest collection is an artistic exploration of the many spheres between the earth’s surface and the void of space. The body of work transmits a mixture of serene and powerful movements, combined with a stunning iridescence of colours found across the expanse above us. It is Rey’s third art collection, following his sellout collections ‘Dimensions’ and ‘Paradiso’.
Using source images from NASA as inspiration for each piece in the collection, captured from both space and aerial viewpoints, ‘Atmosphere’ stands as a celebration of the life’s work of Gordon Miller Bourne Dobson CBE FRS, the great grandfather of the artist. Dobson’s work on the atmosphere was instrumental in the discovery of the hole in the Ozone layer and propelled a much greater understanding of the entity as a whole, for which he was awarded a CBE from the Queen and a Fellowship from Merton College, Oxford.
