Part 2 of 2 (total available supply: 499 NFTs) Collection: https://opensea.io/collection/free-dom
Just imagine how effective could be a protest in which Turkish citizens could use the banknotes that every day pass from hand to hand to write on them their dissent and, thus, spread the word in a Country where the Internet is under government control and its President shut mouths.
Here is a first step: painting the word FREE-DOM on a Turkish banknote with black and red gouache and then cutting it into two parts. FREE (are you? Really?) and DOM (as domain, represented right on the face of Atatürk, the Father of the Nation).
The work consists of a hand-painted 500,000 Turkish lira banknote cutted into two parts. Each part is being produced in 500 copies, of which 499 are digital and 1 digital + physical.
The digital hi-res (6870x7280px) .jpg file is included as unlockable content.

Medyanın hükümetin kontrolünde olduğu ve protestoların susturulduğu bir ülkede, halkın banknotları kullanarak muhalefetlerini yazdıklarını ve bunu yaydıklarını bir düşünün!
