Dream imagery conveys subconscious perception about one's state of mind through the art of Symbolism and Expressionism. 'Cease' (NFT005) is the foremost inspiration and pilot test for my 'Dreamitization' series production (NFT001 and NFT002). I created 'Cease' using stencils of chinese characters added a bunch of spotlights in a 3D CG scene and rendered it out with CG camera lens effects. I yet created both NFT001 and NFT002 taken out the stencils replacing arrays of colorful spotlights instead and coined such style 'Dreamitization'.
Series 1 -- 'Dreamitization' -- is a portmanteau blended "Dream" & "Digitization" to represent such art style. It's an experimental project conducted in 2008 using 3D CG software to create computer generated artworks under the name of AnStudio (www.anstudio.com). Series 2 -- 'OSMM' -- is an Open-Source MultiMedia project (artworks from public tutorials' sample outcome created on behalf of osmm.net, a social innovation community in Hong Kong, advocates to adapt using Free & Open-Source S/W for Digital Content Creation). These artworks are published under the name of OSMM's CG/思之.
